PLUG IT IN, PLUG IT IN

Poured aluminum, plastic, glass, & pigmented oil 2013 A continuation off of my work, Emissions. This work also employs the foundry technique of lost wax casting. These aluminum tampons were stamped with the pattern of a blooming rose. When installed this work also leaks oil, rather then black oil it leaks pigmented red oil. Overall, this work also comments on the mechanical nature of the woman’s body.
